Cullera is situated 80 Km South of Valencia. It has a very large beach. There are many vacation apartments. People from Madrid are numerous here during the summer. During the winter the town is very quiet. You find a camping site open all year. Kite surf can be done in this area, but during the summer restrictions apply. There are 5 distinguished beaches in Cullera. The largest being Sant Antoni of more than 2000 metres long. El Raco of 1200 metres. By the light house you find some smaller beaches. South of Cullera there is a small river outlet. Smaller yachts can enter and you find a small pier a kilometre up the river.
In spite that
there is a large concentration of apartments, this seaside town has a
upmarket image. It is a place where you can look for large
apartments with fantastic sea wives, and good connections to the 3
largest town in Spain , Valencia. |
