Estartit is situated in the North part of Costa Brava. From a former small fishing village with a short pier, it has transformed  to a lively vacation place with a large yacht marina.

South from the town the beaches stretches for many kilometres. North from the town the coast is rocky and falling steep down into the sea.

The island Medes is a short distance from the  marina. Here you find very good diving conditions and Estartit is used by many for a place to learn, an  practice  scuba diving.
