Villajoyosa, map, is situated 5 Km South of Benidorm. You find here a small fishing port, a yacht marina and a beach running along the water front of the town. The town itself is a maze of narrow streets. It is not a town catering for mass tourism. The nearby Benidorm will take care of that. In North direction outside the town you find a small beach and in South direction a larger beach called Paradise beach. There is a camping site along the coast just as you are leaving town in direction South. It is not very big and you get some road noise. Prices somewhat high as well. There used to be a larger camping North of town, however the bulldozers were working on the site during Feb 2008, so it was closed. The next area South is Campello |
