Moraira
beaches are named, from North, El Portet. It is 250
metres long and sand. There is parking nearby for 100 cars. You can also
walk to this beach from the town of Moraira.
La Ampolla beach is situated few hundred metres South from the yacht
marina. It is a 250 metre long and 30 metre wide sand beach. 2 Km
further towards Calpe you find Les Playetes, which is a 170 m long sand
beach with some rocky patches.
On the beaches nearest the town you find signs that water sport, wind
surfing, surfing, water scoter is prohibited. The signs are there
during winter as well, a bit unusual as the beach is not used for
bathing during the winter.
In the surrounding
hills of Moraira you find a large amount of villas. Many with a good
view over the Mediteranean sea.
