Costa Blanca is a
200 long coastline from Denia to Torrevieja. The coast to the North is
called Costa de Valencia and the coast to the south is called Costa Calida.
The coast is a very popular tourist
destination, with the large place of Benidorm as a location for
charter tourism.
Other places on the coast has large
communities of foreign residents. They have bought a house or apartment.
Some live there permanent or just during their vacation.
The property boom in resent years has
made that a very good investment for many. The British are here since
many years. Some places like Javea in such a number that they have seats
in the local government.
An increasing number arrive to the
coast with their motor home or caravan. Then they spend a large part of
the winter on the camping sites along the coast of Costa Blanca
and elsewhere.
The beaches are very popular. From Valencia to Denia you have one long
almost unbroken beach. After Denia the coast is becoming more rocky, but
you still find large beaches in between.

well. In general it all depends if the sun is shining or not. An
important factor is also that you have protection from the cold northern
wind. Javea is a place where you have these conditions and the best
winter weather in Europe.

On Costa Blanca
you can practise all the classic types of sport. One type however
is not widely known, and that is surfing. Have a look at a few

Kite Surfing is also a
popular sport. Especially during spring, autumn and winter.
