Calpe, is situated 15 Km North of Benidorm. The coast is now facing in the direction of South. You can see people on the beach all year. Not many during the winter, but there will be a few.

There are several beaches in and around the town of Calpe. The largest are called El Arenal - El Boll, 1400 metres, situated on the South side. Levante - La Fossa beach, 1000 metres on the East side. Both are sand beaches with many facilities included access for disabled persons.  There are 6 more beaches shorter than 200 metres in the area of Calpe.

The town of Calpe is like all towns on this coastline, dominated of high rise buildings. A good attempt has be made to widen at least some of the streets so you get some space.

The beach is in the centre of the city, and quite large. However i guarantee it will be packed solid on a hot summer day. The photos are from the month of February.

During the winter you can find good surf conditions in the nearby area.
