Altea, is situated only 10 Km. North from Benidorm. The main beach is called La Roda beach. It is right in front of the town, 1400 m long and have a average width of 20 metres and have all facilities. Expect the beach to be rather crowded. Parking for 100 cars. Access for disabled persons.

To the North you find the Cap Negret beach. It is a gravel, sand beach of 1400 metres and 15 metres average width. This beach is les crowded. Parking is difficult.

To the South you get to the beach Cap Blanc. It measures 1300 metres an is approximately 20 metres wide. The composition is gravel and sand. The beach has many facilities inclusive access for disabled persons.
You can get there by bus or shuttle boat from Altea town.

The mild winter climate has made Altea a chosen place for Europeans buying a second home. With the aim to live there part or full time.  In the surrounding hills you can see many developments.

The old town of Altea is worth a visit. here you find many shops selling local art, and hand made product.
