Fuerteventura has  some of the longest beaches in the Canary Islands. Very little rain, and day after day of sun shine.

The landscape is volcanic. However the last eruptions were thousand of years ago. Quite different from the island of Lanzarote nearby.

The island offers very good water sport facilities. Especially for wind surf surfing and diving. 

Direct flights   to the airport of Fuerteventura makes it easy to get there. And Fuerteventura is widely used by North Europeans to make an escape from the long, dark winter.
