Cofete beach is 6500 metres long. It is situated in the South West part of Fuerteventura. The surface is fine sand. Caution is needed as the waves are often powerful here. To get there you will be passing unpaved road. On your way you will also see the very isolated Villa Winter, a mysterious very large building build by a army general. Some believe the villa is build to hide the entrance to large underground caves, but nobody quite knows.
