This beach is situated 5 Km West of Royan. In this area there is a large parking and a small range of restaurants. Facing West, a good place to go to catch the sunset. Across from the parking there is an area with room for some 10 auto campers.

There are several camp sites in this area, and around Royan in general. The Michelin camping guide for France has a small map that shows how they are situated.

Expect the water to be some what murky, as this is the river mouth of the Girone river.
