If you continue from Torreilles beach further South towards the mountains, now clearly visible, then you reach the small town St Marie la Mer. In the North part of the town you find a large parking right in front of the beach. In 2007 there was a restriction in the heights of the vehicle allowed to enter. The strange thing was, that on the parking you found electrical sockets. It looked as if there had been a change of plans. As the tourist office is right next to the parking, it is possible to ask there.
At the south end
of the beach you find a small yacht marina, as well as storage area for
boats. In the yacht marina there is a slip for launching boats from a
trailer. |
