Port La Nouvelle is reached via the exit 39 or 40 from the A9 highway. The name means " The new harbour" This is exactly what you find, a rather large commercial harbour. However if you continue you will find a large beach as well, with a waterfront, where you also find a casino and a few hotels. Along the pier some auto campers had made themselves a resting place. In the South end of the town there is a large parking for auto campers. It has facility for discharge. It is nicely made with newly planted trees. The area is however in the "back side" of the town near the rail road.
