Gruissan is situated 10 Km from Narbonne and the A9 highway. It is a costal town where massive development have taken place. In the Laguna you find a large yacht harbour, surrounded by the new town with apartments and small town houses.

You can choose between two beaches. The North or the South beach. The South is situated next to the salt fields. In front of the fields is where you find very good conditions for wind surfing. Nothing to obstruct the wind, and you can sail close inshore in calm water, in the often strong North West wind.

At the North beach you find a 6 Ha. large 4 star camping site  Les Ayguadedes, directly to the beach. It is open from 1 of April until 15 of November.

There are two sites for auto campers in Gruissan. They are both in the South part of the area. Opened till 15 November. Also between the town and the salt fields you find a Municipal camping site. Open mainly during the summer month only.

The town monument is a stone tower in the old town centre. Here you find a small area with narrow streets and restaurants.

There is a very good camping site near Narbonne and the highway. It is called La Nautique (AC). If you are just looking for a convenient stopover. All the pitches have a separate bathroom located in a small building at your pitch. There is a Wi-Fi and internet computers in the reception
