Mimizan
Beach,
is several kilometres long. The beach is fine sand and several hundred
metres wide. At low water even more.
In general you refer to the South
beach, the centre beach and the North beach.
At the North beach there is
a large parking in a pine wood. Here it is possible to make a picnic
as well.
The centre beach is in front of the town. You find some parking
area, but it will quickly fill up during the high season.
There is a life guard station on the Northern part of the beach and it
was still in daily operation by the end of September.
The surf schools are operating mainly on the Northern beach, but also on
the South Mimizan South beach.
