Hourtin Plage, is a small village on the Aquitane Atlantic coast, 50 Km. South from Soulac sur Mer. The photo shows the main street leading down to the beach. By the beach you find a large parking area. A collection of restaurants as well.

Just 200 metres away is a large camp site, named Cote D'Argent. www.cca33.com . It has many facilities. Wi-Fi internet for a reasonable price are one of them. Open from May to mid September.

By the end of September 80% of the camp sites are closed for end of season. Still enough are opened to travel around, only it takes a bit more planning.

Down by the beach parking, there is a surf club.
