Amelie Syr Mer is situated 6 Km South of Soulac Syr Mer along the Atlantic coast. The beach, as you can see on the photo above, is looking great. It is even wider at low water. You can see the life guard station, which is in operation until mid September.

The camp site Plage Amelie is overlooking this part of the beach and has direct access. This site is open 1/3  31/12. It is a popular base for surfers, and a surf camp is situated here. Video clip surfcamp

The houses of Amelle Syr Mer are limited in number. Several small restaurants and a grocery store are present. Mostly open during the summer season only.

If you are arriving to Amelle Syr Mer from the road D 102, then you will be passing several camping sites before arriving to the sea front.  Photos are from month of September.
