The tourist office is situated close to this tower, just follow the "I" sign. In the office you can get folders of events in the area. Guides for trips and where to find lodging. In the tourist you can rent cottages as well. They act as agents for private owners. Normally it is minimum 1 week. The cottages are in several sizes, up to the comfortable small house with all facilities

The county of "Storestroemmen" where Vordingborg is situated, is known for its charming landscapes. It is cut in several pieces by the sea, and is basically a group of islands. Large and small.

There is a marked car driving route. It starts in Praestoe, crosses over to Moen, on to Moens Klint.  If you drive West along the coast, you can visit several interesting areas as well.

Vordingborg has no large beaches. The nearest are Feddet between Faxe and Praestoe, or Marielyst on the East Coast of Falster.
