Slette strand Map, is a small village along the West coast of Denmark. In the village there are some shops and a hotel. The area is popular for its special landscape.

Looking South along the coast. The green hill is the old coast line from stone age time.

The photos above shows the parking along the beach. You can also see the old winch house, far left. The life boat house is the red house with red roof. Most ofl the villages along the coast had life boats to support the fishing and assist larger ships if they ran aground. If the weather was too bad to launch the life boat, then lines could be fired with a special cannon. Stranded crew could then use the rope line to guide them ashore.
