Hanstholm. Map, Booking.com. The photo above shows the large harbour. Today the fishing fleet is decimated from is prime years. A couple of ferry lines are occupying the free space. In general however Hanstholm has become very quiet.

On the photo above you can se the waiting area for the ferry traffic. There is a lot of space.

The light house used to be the second in strength and distance in Europe. In clear weather you could see the glow some 50 Km off the coast. There is a museum in the building.

An other interesting thing to visit is the old fortifications from the World War. Where Hanstholm had one of the strongest forts on the coast. www.museumscenterhanstholm.dk for more information.
