This section is a quick reference guide about Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark.

Denmark is one of the smaller Scandinavian countries with only 5 million inhabitants. The country side is with small hills, woods and fields. The coast line offers sand beaches and many islands.

The summer starts in beginning of June and last to beginning of September. The temperatures can vary a lot, during the period. Rain is quite frequent. You do get however periods of sparkling sun shine. Only you never know when that is. September is also a month to consider as it is often quite mild. During June you have day light until very late.

If you drive along the coast from Copenhagen, North, you pass past some charming small harbours and eventually reach the North Coast of Sealand.
