Gilleleje is situated on the North coast of Sealand. It is one of the most popular resorts for a summer vacation. The harbour has a section for yachts and a section for commercial, mainly fishing vessels.
There is a small shipyard servicing the fishing vessels. You find repair facilities for yachts as well.    Map
 

During the month of July the harbour is full every day by visiting yachts. However as it is a quite large port, you can always find some extra space.

On both sides you find sand beaches. The largest is found in a westerly direction.
