Dragoer harbour is situated at the southern approach to Copenhagen. It is also close to Copenhagen airport. It used to be an important commercial port. Here the vessels picked up the pilot. The fishing was an important business. For many years it was an important ferry connecting point. With many connections to Sweden.

There is a small boat building workshop to the left.
On the waterfront you find several small and larger restaurant, and Dragoer harbour builds quite an atmosphere during the summer.

 

To the left is a photo from the new yacht marina, situated a few hundred metres from the old commercial. Visiting yachts mainly stay in the old port, as this is more centrally located.
South of the Yacht Marina you find a fortress. This place is worth a visit, for the view and the historical interest.
There is a frequent bus connection to Copenhagen, 10 Km away.
