Asturias is bordered to the West by Galicia. To the south by Castilla-Leon. To the East by Cantabria. The coast is rocky with many  beaches. To the south tall mountains are separating Asturias from the neighbouring provinces. Here you find Picos de Europa, a large natural park. The coast line is called "Costa Verde" and considered one of the most spectacular in Spain.

The climate is cool and fresh, in Spanish terms,  as it is bordering the Bay of Biscay. The local food is tasting very well. Asturias is well known for its cooking.--
